The Model Colour paint range encompasses 218 highly pigmented acrylic colours, formulated specifically for models and miniatures. These water-based paints are non-toxic and non-flammable, presented in 17ml eyedropper bottles to prevent spills. Model Colour is suitable for use on all surfaces, and is particularly formulated to adhere well to plastics and polyesters.

The colours in the Model Colour range brush on smoothly, enabling easy coverage of large surfaces without visible brushstrokes. Their texture makes them equally suitable for the most minute details of miniature artwork. Except for the metallic and transparent shades, all the colours dry to a matte and opaque finish.

The transparent colours, on the other hand, deliver a brilliant finish, tinting the surface without concealing wood grains or other characteristics. On models, these transparent colours can be applied directly for headlights and signal lights; when diluted with Matte Medium, they become ideal for tinting airplane or car windows (simulating smoked glass). Applying a coat of transparent colour over the same matte colour can create an extra-brilliant special effect.

Model Colour can be diluted with water, and all the colours can be mixed with one another. The products do not contain solvents and are non-flammable. The pigments used are free of lead and other harmful ingredients. Any mistakes can be easily corrected immediately with water or a small amount of alcohol. Once the paint has dried, it becomes waterproof and permanent.
